The Fitting Room Chronicles

I am a fashion/costume designer, artist, journalist, actress, model and fashion aficionado currently based in Toronto, ON. I love kittens of all shapes and sizes and anything else that is puffy, squishy or adorable. I have a terrible weakness for pretty things; I adore vintage hats, gloves, bags, clothes, jewelry, furniture and anything else that your grandmother would probably like. I love violins and fancy tea cups; satin ribbons, pocket watches, brocades and anything with a damask print. I love everything Dior – I think it is the epitome of fantasy and elegance. I could watch Gone with the Wind, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Ziegfeld Follies and Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette everyday for the costumes alone.  I love wine, Chambord and vodka martinis, and french fries (not all together, of course.)        I have a million things to say about a million things, but this, is my first portfolio and blog site. Welcome to my world!

Throughout the various portfolio pages you will find examples of my work – from fashion and costume design to writing samples, you will be able to peruse my creative endeavours.

In the blog portion we will meet many different women, each with a style all her own. Together, we will embark on retail adventures, where we will seek her most desired items, while simultaneously gaining insight her character and personal style, and see how they mesh to form the lovely lady she is today. And yes, there will also be lovely, colourful photos chronicling many of the fabulous items we find over the course of our journey. Plus, anything else I feel like writing about… Please enjoy!
